SAMBA MAHSURI (BPT 5204) A Superfine grained rice variety developed by the teaching staff of the Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Agricultural College, BAPATLA of Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University presently Acharya N G Ranga Agricultural Univesity, Andhra Pradesh, India, under the able guidance and leadership of Dr. M. V. Reddi along with his collegues. This high premium rice variety is widely grown not only in many parts of Andhra Pradesh but also in other states in India.
